June is a good time of the year to get out and do some fishing. The trout bite was weak  but ended up with five keepers. I’m using live shrimp and gulp baits on a popping cork. The redfish are all sizes catching them on shrimp and cut bait on oyster bars and spoil islands. The redfish today were caught on live shrimp in the mangroves in crystal river. The redfish were not very big 15 to 18 inches but after about 30 catch and release fish it wasn’t a bad day of fishing.   ><///”>
